When our son and his family announced their plan to move from Israel to Portugal in September 2019, Bernice and I knew that we weren’t prepared to miss out on our baby grandson’s childhood. For various reasons, the simplest(!) solution seemed to be to buy a small house close to their land, and spend several months a year there. This blog is the story of our retirement adventure.
